Rhythms of Light and Color: Gallobuey on the Tenerife Fashion +Sustainable Catwalk
At Gallobuey, we experienced our participation in the Tenerife Sustainable Fashion Show not just as a fashion show, but as confirmation that the future of the sector is already being built from the islands. We had the honor of participating in the First Sustainable Fashion Conference of the Tenerife Island Council, held in the historic setting of Garachico; a key event that positions Tenerife as an undisputed leader in innovation, responsible design, and the circular economy.
Stepping onto this catwalk, in such a symbolic space as the Old Convent of San Francisco, allowed us to project our vision to the public and the industry: a contemporary design driven by 3D printing and sustainable manufacturing processes. For our brand, sustainability is not just a label; it's the starting point where every decision matters and every material has a purpose.

Tango: The Duality of the Río de la Plata
We explore the tension and passion of tango through gender duality, using navy blue rayon as a sustainable, nighttime canvas.
Masculine Energy: A reinterpretation of classic tailoring. Its standout feature is the lapel, inspired by the traditional tango jacket, printed in pastel pink against a deep navy blue background, blurring the lines between classic and digital.
Feminine Energy: An ode to structural sensuality. This design incorporates a breast with pastel pink droplets, created using 3D printing from recycled bottles, fusing technology and fluidity.
Flamenco: The Cycle of Life and Botany
The power of flamenco embodies the essence of nature and the origin of life. A conceptual flamenco fashion where technology mimics the organic.
Maternity: Protection and elegance. A design that combines hopeful green trousers with a protective pale pink shawl. The 3D shoulder pads and hand-applied beading elevate the piece to the status of wearable art.
The Birth: Life finds a way. Trousers with 3D printed ruffles that defy gravity, accompanied by a chest of pale pink petals, digitally sculpted to evoke blossoming.
Opera: The Light of Innocence
The theatricality of opera transports us to the early stages of life, characterized by purity and visual drama.
Early Childhood: An ethereal white design with a lavender lining. Gold details bring the light of early years, creating a delicate and dreamy silhouette.
The Bride (Childhood): A centerpiece of our atelier. This avant-garde wedding dress fuses traditional white with a 3D-printed bodice and violet elements. Three-dimensionally printed musical scores run through the design, materializing the melody on the body.
Rock: Rebellion, Freedom and Air
Adolescence and youth explode in this line inspired by rock icons, where the element of air symbolizes absolute freedom.
Adolescence: The search for identity. An electric blue outfit with gold details and small 3D printed wings incorporated into the garment, evoking the desire to fly and break molds.
Youth: A Tribute to Legends. A striking gold jumpsuit with a large printed wing, fusing the unmistakable aesthetics of Elvis Presley and Freddie Mercury. Glamour, rebellion, and textile architecture.
Techno: Maturity, Synthesis and Upcycling
Electronic music represents the synthesis of all experiences. This phase embraces circular fashion and upcycling as symbols of maturity.
Mature Adulthood: Conscious Innovation. A structured maxi dress with 3D shoulder pads made from recycled plastic filament. It represents wisdom, environmental awareness, and the future of ethical fashion.
Early Adulthood: Integrating lived experience. A crisscross dress made entirely from fabric scraps salvaged from previous phases of the collection. A multicolored piece that symbolizes true sustainability: nothing is lost, everything is transformed.
